He was overtaken by Leclerc in lap twelve and immediately dived into the pit. The Monegasque driver waited until lap 27, ending up behind Verstappen but overtaking him again in lap 33. The same scenario unfolded in laps 37 (Verstappen going in), 49 (Leclerc going in) and 53 (Leclerc overtaking Verstappen). Ultimately, the Ferrari driver won the race.
