I can't say that we're friends or anything because we don't have much contact with each other. We had a short period together at Bayern Munich, but I am convinced that United has an exceptional coach for many years," Guardiola praises the Dutchman.

Guardiola also highlights the chemistry between Casemiro and Ten Hag. He considers it a masterstroke by the Dutchman to snatch the Brazilian away from Real Madrid. "I don't know Casemiro very well, but I have the information that he was a great professional at Madrid. I was also certain that he didn't come to England to take it easy in the last years of his career."

Supporters are enamored with Ten Hag

Almost everyone in England is positive about Ten Hag in his first year at United. The supporters, in particular, have embraced the Dutchman. Duncan Drasdo, chairman of the Manchester United Supporters Trust, voices the sentiment of many United fans who hold Ten Hag in high regard. "We love our bald man. He is brilliant. I haven't felt this good about a coach since Ferguson. We believe we finally have the right coach." The match between Manchester United and Manchester City kicks off at 4:00 p.m., at a sold-out Wembley.
